We are delighted to announce this special campaign to celebrate our partnership with Mumbai Indians for the league season of 2026. Follow the steps below to be eligible to win match tickets by a random lot.
How to participate: 2 easy steps!
Step 1: Follow @_pokemonofficialindia (Not required if you follow us already).
Step 2: Comment the name of your favourite Pokémon if you would like to win match tickets for the date mentioned in our Instagram post.
1 lucky winner each will be chosen for each of the 7 home matches. Each winner will receive 4 match tickets.
*The entry period to participate in the campaign for each home match will be announced on our Instagram account.
*Only comments made on each post during the entry period for each match will be eligible for the prize.
The following Campaign Terms and Conditions apply to all individuals who participate.
Campaign Terms and Conditions
Before taking part in the campaign for the Mumbai Indians home match (the "Event") by The Pokémon Company (the "Company") (the "Campaign"), you (the "Participant") shall read these terms and conditions (the "Terms") carefully and take part after agreeing to these Terms. Therefore, if a Participant takes part in the Campaign, it is deemed that the Participant has agreed to these Terms.
1. Preconditions
The Participant shall meet all the following conditions for taking part in the Campaign and receiving the prize of the Campaign (the "Prize"):
a. Not being an employee of the Company, or a person involved in the Campaign.
b. Living in India and being able to receive the Prize.
c.Having the Participant’s Instagram account (the "Participant Account") set to public.
d. With the Participant Account, following the official Pokémon Instagram account (@_pokemonofficialindia) (the "Pokémon Account"), and leaving a comment on the Pokémon Account (the "Comment") stating the name of the Participant’s favourite Pokémon.
2. Campaign
The Campaign, its contents and the Prize may be terminated or changed at the Company’s sole discretion.
3. Participation
(1) The Company may cancel, invalidate and reject the participation and giving the Prize at its sole discretion if any of the following applies to the Participant:
(i) Stopping following the Pokémon Account.
(ii) Deleting the Comment.
(iii) Taking part in the Campaign with multiple Instagram accounts.
(iv) Being considered by the Company as that (iv-i) the Participant Account was created solely for the purpose of taking part in the Campaign, such as taking part in immediately after creating a Participant Account,
(iv-ii) they violate these Terms, or
(iv-iii) there is any other fraudulent behavior.
(2) The Comment shall not contain any of the following:
(i) Damaging the honour or credit of the Company or a third party, or defaming them.
(ii) Infringing any rights of the Company or a third party.
(iii) Violating laws, public order and morals, any terms and conditions of Instagram, or any other behavior considered inappropriate by Instagram.
(iv) Impersonating another user or a third party.
(v) Affiliate marketing, advertising, or promotional purposes.
(vi) Being considered as inappropriate on reasonable grounds by the Company.
(3) The Participant shall be liable or responsible for all communication and transportation costs related to the Campaign.
(4) The Company shall not be liable or responsible for any connection problems to the internet, etc.
(5) The Company shall not respond to inquiries regarding the Campaign and the Prize.
4. Prize
The Prize may not be chosen or exchanged. The Participant shall be eligible to get only one set of Prizes. Among the Participants, only one (1) person chosen by a random lot would get a Prize. The winner who may receive the Prize among the Participants will be notified of winning and related information via direct message (DM) on Instagram from the Company. If a winner does not respond to such messages within 24 hours, the Company reserves the right to invalidate their win and select an alternative winner.
5. Terms
These Terms may be changed at the Company’s sole discretion. If these Terms are changed, the revised Terms will be applicable immediately.
6. Personal Information
The personal information provided by the Participants (the "Personal Information") will be used for delivering the Prizes.The Personal Information may be provided to the Company's outsourcing company which is involved in the related works to the Campaign. The Personal Information will be treated in accordance with the Company’s Privacy Policy.
7. Other
(1) The Campaign is not sponsored or associated with Instagram. Instagram shall not be liable or responsible for any trouble and damage caused by or arising from the Campaign.
(2) The Company shall not be liable or responsible for any trouble and damage caused by or arising from the Campaign.
(3) The Company shall not be liable or responsible for any trouble and damage related to the Comment. The Participant shall be liable and responsible for such trouble and damage, and resolve such trouble and damage at their own expense and responsibility.
(4) The Company shall not warrant the accuracy, certainty, usefulness, timeliness, functionality, completeness, or suitability for a particular purpose of the Campaign content and information.
(5) The Company shall not bear any transportation expenses or provide transportation means to receive the Prize or to travel to the venue of the Event. And all such costs and arrangements shall be the sole responsibility of the Participant.
(6) These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
(7) All disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms and the Campaign shall be finally settled by arbitration, in accordance with the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the Japan Commercial Arbitration Association. The place of arbitration shall be Tokyo, Japan. The arbitration proceedings and all documents submitted to the arbitrators shall be in Japanese.
