STORY

It’s time for Ash and Pikachu to set off on their adventures in the Kalos region! Along the way, they’re joined by some new friends—a genius inventor named Clemont, his little sister Bonnie, and Serena, a Trainer on her first journey. Ash immediately tries to challenge the Gym in Lumiose City, but doesn’t get very far before a robot throws him out! In between Gym battles, Ash and friends will be exploring this unique region, meeting all kinds of new Pokémon, and looking into a fascinating new Pokémon mystery!

CHARACTER

Ash

Pokémon Trainer from Pallet Town in Kanto region, Ash, together with his partner Pikachu, arrived at the Kalos region to become a Pokémon Master. His love for Pokémon surpasses every other person and has a strong sense of morality. While he attacks fiercely and blindly in Pokémon Battles, at times, he comes out with unexpected ideas as well. Ash never gives up and has a strong mind.

Pikachu

The first Pokémon Ash received from Professor Oak when he embarked on his journey from Pallet Town. Having braved the dangerous adventures and tough trainings together, Pikachu is the most formidable partner Ash can ever have. Pikachu relies heavily on its own sense of speed and never gives up even till the last moment in Pokémon Battles. Happy when its tail gets stroked.

Serena

A fashionable lady living in Kalos region. Has Rhyhorn Racer’s mother in possession. Met Ash when she was young and re-acquainted at Kalos region. Invited by Ash to join in his journey together.

Clemont

A boy who is the Gym Leader of Lumiose City. He specializes in electric type Pokémon. Innovative and is proud of the rucksack he carries which is equipped with Aipom Arm.

Bonnie

Clemont’s sister who is reliable and always looking out for potential wive candidates for Clemont. She also asks Clemont for permission to "keep" Pokémon that she one day wants to train, when she is old enough to be a Pokémon Trainer.

Professor Sycamore

A Pokémon Professor with a laboratory in Kalos region. His role is to pass new trainers their very first Pokémon and researches on the evolution of Pokémon, specifically Mega Evolution. He is also the organizer for Pokémon Summer Camp which is held annually.

Professor Oak

A researcher at Pallet Town in Kanto Region who researches and investigate on the ecology of Pokémon. Charismatic and popular, Professor Oak often appears in variety shows in various regions and gets invited to performances. He is also the one who gave Pikachu to Ash.

Team Rocket

An evil organization led by Giovanni to conquer the world. Jessie, James and Meowth of Team Rocket seeks to capture Ash’s Pikachu. Even in Kalos region, Team Rocket continues to get in the way!

POINT

Mega Evolution

Can only be achieved when there is a strong bond between Pokémon Trainer and Pokémon, in the presence of the Mega Ring owned by Pokémon Trainer and Mega Stone owned by Pokémon. Under normal circumstances, Pokémon’s evolution does not occur.

Rhyhorn Race

A competitive race with 6 Rhyhorns where humans ride on them and winner is determined by the fastest speed to complete the race. It is a major event in Kalos region and a dedicate race ground for this event in big cities. It is important to not give up before riding the Rhyhorn.

Sky Battle

A Pokémon Battle which Pokémon fights in the air. With Wing Suit donned, Pokémon Trainer competes with Sky Trainer. There is a height restriction for safety reasons.

Pokémon Showcase

A competition where Pokémon Trainer and Pokémon perform together. A trainer who appears in this event is known as Pokémon Performer. They compete not through battles, but compete in activities such as acting with their Pokémon, which is like a Pokémon fashion show. In order to attain the title of Kalos Queen, the pair would need to win more than 3 times and win against Master Class.

New Friends

Tierno, Shauna, and Trevor were childhood friends. They embarked on their own adventures with Pokemon received from Professor Sycamore - Tierno a Squirtle, Shauna a Bulbasaur and Trevor a Charmander.
